Earthquake tremors felt in many parts of Bangladesh
Prothom Alo quoted Mohammad Rubayat Kabir, acting officer of the meteorological department’s earthquake observation and research center, that this earthquake with a 4.0 -magnitude has been considered a major earthquake. According to USGS, the epicenter of the earthquake was 16 km north-north-west and 10 km deep from Sagiing in Myanmar, causing earthquake in many parts of Bangladesh.
