Raipur. Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai joined the Nagar Kirtan Yatra on the occasion of the 350th martyrdom of Guru Shri Teghbahadur Singh Ji held in Seerikhedi of the capital Raipur today.
Greetings to Guru Tegh Bahadur Singh ji’s sacrifice
Chief Minister Sai said that Guru Shri Tegh Bahadur Singh Ji made his supreme sacrifice to protect religion and the country. He described it as good luck for Chhattisgarh that this historic Kirtan Yatra has arrived on the land of the state.
The Chief Minister prayed in front of Guru Granth Sahib and wished for the happiness and prosperity and prosperity of the people of the state. He respected Panch Pyaron and received the holy Siropa and Kirpan offering him.
City Kirtan reached Chhattisgarh after traveling 10 thousand kilometers
The Chief Minister said that this city started from Gurdwara Dhubari Sahib in Assam on the 350th martyrdom of Kirtan Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. This journey has reached Chhattisgarh after traveling about 10 thousand kilometers through many parts of the country.
He said that it is a historical and virtuous opportunity for the people of the state that he got the opportunity to welcome and join this journey.
Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s martyrdom immortal symbol
Chief Minister Sai said that we all know that Guru Tegh Bahadur ji never gave up in front of the Mughals. He sacrificed his life to protect religion. Even today, Gurdwara Sheeshganj Sahib located in Chandni Chowk in Delhi is an immortal symbol of his martyrdom.
Guru Govind Singh Ji mentions the valor of Sahibzadas
The Chief Minister further said that the martyrdom of the four Sahibzadas of Guru Govind Singh ji is also incomparable. Instead of bowing to the Mughals, he sacrificed his life to protect religion.
He informed that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has decided to celebrate Veer Children’s Day on 26 December every year to honor the valor of Sahibzadas. The Government of Chhattisgarh has also decided to include this day in the syllabus.
