People can get more jobs in these.
According to the ET report, H-1B visa can see boosts in India’s job sector. Increased cost of H-1B visa, which is a way to prevent foreign skilled workers from working in the US. This will increase the pressure of cost and profit margin on companies. But this can increase the speed of working from abroad in India. However, CEO Parikh Jain of the consultancy firm EIIR trend says that Indian IT service companies will have a negative impact in short term, because for every project, some people are on-site i.e. in America and most people are required from off-site i.e. India.

Jain said that American tech companies like Microsoft, who will not be able to bring people from H-1B visas, will depend more on their GCC in India. Racrutment firms say that this step of H-1B visa can be beneficial for India. This will increase reverse talent migration, that is, the opportunities of talent and jobs in India will increase. Kapil Joshi, CEO of Quss IT Staffing, said that as on-site roles in America will be expensive, more work will be shifted to India. This will make more jobs and the strength to retain talent will increase. This can also reversed the trend of talent drain.

On the decision of the US to increase visa fee, Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said that only American officials can solve this. India hopes that the US will provide relief soon. Jaiswal said that the government has started studying the proposed report related to the H-1B visa program.
