Actor Rana Daggubati and his wife Miheeka Daggubati marked their sixth wedding anniversary on Saturday, with Miheeka sharing previously unseen photographs from their intimate wedding ceremony.
Taking to Instagram, Miheeka posted two black-and-white pictures from their August 8, 2020 wedding. One photograph showed the couple standing against a beautifully decorated backdrop, looking at each other, while the second captured Miheeka during one of the wedding rituals as she posed as a shy bride.
She captioned the post with their wedding date, “08.08.2020”, followed by a red heart emoji.
The post drew reactions from several industry friends, including actor Dulquer Salmaan, who commented that the couple were “always my favs”, accompanied by heart emojis.
Rana and Miheeka have known each other for years. Miheeka was a schoolmate of Rana’s sister, Malavika Daggubati. The couple got married on August 8, 2020, during the Covid-19 lockdown in a close-knit ceremony attended by family members and a few friends from the film industry, including Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Ram Charan and Naga Chaitanya.
On the work front, Rana is set to appear in the upcoming Telugu drama Rakshasa Raja, directed by Teja and expected to release in December this year.
His other upcoming project is the Tamil political film Parasakthi, directed by Sudha Kongara and backed by Aakash Baskaran of Dawn Pictures. The film stars Ravi Mohan, Sivakarthikeyan, Atharvaa and Sreeleela in key roles. It follows two brothers who oppose the promotion of Hindi as India’s national language and face threats from an Intelligence Bureau officer.
