Keerthy Suresh has reacted to social media claims that she agreed to perform a dance number in Nani’s upcoming film The Paradise because of a lack of substantial acting offers.
Reports about Keerthy being part of the film have not been officially confirmed. However, the actress responded humorously to an Instagram video that criticised her career choices.
In the video, a woman claimed that Keerthy had taken up a dance number in The Paradise because she was not getting strong roles. She also mistakenly referred to the Nani-starrer as a Kannada film instead of a Telugu film.
Keerthy chose not to give a long clarification. Instead, she replied with a sarcastic comment in Tamil.
She wrote, “Vera level ponga! Chinna correction. Nani nadippathu Telugu. Kannada alla,” which roughly translates to, “This is next level! Just a small correction: Nani is acting in a Telugu film, not a Kannada one.”
Her witty response drew plenty of reactions from fans, with many posting laughing and fire emojis.
Keerthy and Nani share a close friendship and have worked together twice before — in Nenu Local in 2017 and Dasara in 2023. Both films performed well at the box office.
Although reports have suggested that Keerthy may appear in The Paradise, neither she nor the makers have officially confirmed her involvement.
The teaser of The Paradise was released recently, but it did not give any indication of Keerthy’s presence in the film.
Directed by Srikanth Odela, the film stars Nani in the lead role, along with Raghav Juyal, Mohan Babu, Kayadu Lohar, Tanikella Bharani, Sonali Kulkarni, Sampoornesh Babu and Eeshwari Rao in important roles.
The Paradise is scheduled to release in theatres on September 24.
On the work front, Keerthy has several projects lined up. She will be seen in Karthik Subbaraj’s Dorothy, which is scheduled for release on September 25.
In Telugu, she is also set to star in Rowdy Janardhana, directed by Ravi Kiran Kola and featuring Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role. The film is slated for release in December 2026.
Keerthy is also part of Anil Ravipudi’s yet-to-be-titled film featuring Venkatesh, Kalyan Ram and Krithi Shetty.
