Toxic: Ahead Of Film’s Premiere, Yash Becomes Distributor For Gangster Movie In Karnataka – Report

The upcoming Kannada-English bilingual film Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown Ups is one of the most awaited releases of the year after several delays. The gangster film is led by Yash, and the actor reportedly is set to become a distributor with his Monster Mind Creations in his home state of Karnataka. The action film is gearing up for a big release in the state on August 26, and Yash seems to be going all out to make sure the long-delayed film is a success. It is the first time that the KGF star will be turning to distribution; Yash is also producing both his 2026 films, Toxic and Nitish Tiwari’s Ramayana, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor.

Yash will also distribute Toxic in Karnataka

According to a report in Variety India,   is making his distribution debut in Karnataka with KVN Productions for Toxic. The production house is joining hands with Yash’s Monster Mind Creations for Toxic’s theatrical release in the actor’s home state. The report states that Toxic will have the biggest-ever release in Karnataka with a record number of screens, mostly in Bengaluru.

Yash in Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups

The action film, directed by Geetu Mohandas, has been filmed in both Kannada and English, but it will also be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. Yash shares the screen with several actresses from the Hindi and South industries for the ambitious film. Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth all have key roles in the feature film, which has been said to be the most expensive Indian movie.

All eyes are on the South star, as he has not had a release since 2022’s KGF: Chapter 2. But he is set to star in two of the biggest films of the year with Toxic and Ramayana.

The trailer of the film is being launched in grand style on August 8, 2026, in Bengaluru. The eagerly awaited trailer finally shed some light on the story of the period narrative film. Yash will be seen in a dual role as both Rumi and Ticket. The rest of the cast of Toxic includes Kiara Advani as Nadia, Nayanthara as Ganga,   as Elizabeth, Tara Sutaria as Rebecca, and Rukmini Vasanth as Mellisa.

The male actors include Akshay Oberoi as Tony, Darrell D’Silva as Salvador, Sudev Nair as Karmadi, and Balaji Manohar as Bheera. The period action drama is set during the 1940s and 1970s in Goa in what looks to be a exciting and fierce gangster saga.
