Tata Nexon Camo Edition launched in India: How much it costs and what’s new in this special variant?

Tata Motors has launched the Nexon Camo Edition in India, expanding the compact SUV’s lineup with a limited-run special edition. Prices start at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), and the new variant is available with petrol, diesel and CNG powertrain options across multiple trims. The launch celebrates the Nexon’s milestone anniversary and introduces several cosmetic and feature upgrades without making any mechanical changes.

Tata Nexon Camo Edition price

The Tata Nexon Camo Edition starts at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Creative Camo petrol manual variant. It is also offered in Creative Plus S Camo variants with manual, AMT, DCT, diesel and CNG options, with prices extending to higher trims depending on the powertrain.

What’s new in the Camo Edition?

The biggest changes are cosmetic. Tata has introduced two exclusive exterior colours:

  • Munnar Mist
  • Coorg Clouds

The SUV also gets exclusive Camo Edition badging, refreshed styling elements and new interior accents to distinguish it from the standard Nexon.

Another major addition is an integrated dashcam, which is being offered as part of the special edition. The cabin also features Tata’s latest twin-screen setup, giving the SUV a more premium feel.

Features

Depending on the variant, the Nexon Camo Edition offers features such as:

  • Twin-screen cockpit
  • Integrated dashcam
  • Automatic climate control
  • Cruise control
  • Push-button start
  • Wireless smartphone connectivity
  • Electric sunroof on select variants
  • Panoramic sunroof on higher variants
  • 360-degree camera on higher trims
  • Six airbags and multiple safety features
  • Engine options

Mechanically, the Camo Edition remains unchanged. Buyers can choose from:

  • 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine
  • 1.5-litre diesel engine
  • 1.2-litre turbo-petrol CNG

Transmission options include 5-speed manual, AMT and 7-speed DCT, depending on the chosen variant.

What makes it different?

Unlike the standard Nexon, the Camo Edition focuses on exclusivity through unique paint finishes, special badging and additional convenience features rather than performance upgrades. It joins Tata’s growing portfolio of special-edition SUVs aimed at buyers looking for a more distinctive appearance without paying a significant premium.
