Sobhita Dhulipala is set to celebrate her second wedding anniversary in a few months. Nearly two years after marrying Telugu cinema’s young star Naga Chaitanya, the actress is yet to announce a Telugu film.
Sobhita is a Telugu girl herself and is married to a Telugu actor, yet she has largely stayed away from Telugu cinema after her marriage. She continues to take up fashion assignments and Hindi web projects, while also expanding into other industries. She is currently part of filmmaker Pa. Ranjith’s upcoming futuristic sci-fi film “Vettuvam.”
With Tamil and Hindi projects in her kitty, it does raise the question of why Sobhita has not been signing Telugu films.
Interestingly, in a recent interview, Sobhita said she would be thrilled to share the screen with her husband, Naga Chaitanya, if the right opportunity comes her way. However, she clarified that no filmmaker has approached them with such a proposal so far.
So, despite her strong Telugu roots and marriage into a prominent Telugu film family, Sobhita appears to be choosing projects based purely on the roles and scripts that come her way rather than actively seeking Telugu films.
