The specialty of this airport is that it will directly connect to the Yamuna Expressway, which will provide relief to the people of Delhi, Agra, Mathura and Vrindavan.
Jewar Airport is a Greenfield Airport, which has been used modern technology to make. Spread over an area of 5,845 hectares, 178 aircraft will be able to stand simultaneously in this airport. There is also preparation to connect Jewar Airport with Ganga Expressway, Yamuna Expressway, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. Along with this, a new expressway is also being prepared to connect it to New Noida. The distance of Jewar Airport from Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) is about 72 kilometers while it is just 40 kilometers from major cities like Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad.
