Natural Star Nani is aiming for wider recognition with his ambitious action drama The Paradise, which is being planned for a pan-world release.
The film has already generated strong interest through its posters, promotional glimpses and the popular Aaya Sher song. It also marks Nani’s second collaboration with director Srikanth Odela after the success of Dasara.
The much-awaited teaser has now been released, presenting a dark, intense and action-packed world. Nani appears in a rugged and powerful avatar, showing a noticeable transformation for the role.
Set against the backdrop of an oppressed community living under feudal dominance, the teaser follows a fearless leader who rises against injustice and inspires a rebellion.
One of the key visual elements in the teaser is the recurring image of a crow, which appears to symbolise marginalised people who have long been ignored and underestimated. This symbolism adds depth to the film’s central theme.
The teaser features hand-to-hand combat, axe fights, sword battles, explosions and large crowds marching in protest. The action sequences and visuals suggest that the makers are aiming for a large-scale cinematic experience.
Srikanth Odela, who has written and directed the film, presents the story with strong emotions and striking imagery. The teaser opens with a powerful dialogue by Nani and maintains an intense tone throughout.
Nani’s physical transformation, rugged appearance and commanding screen presence stand out. His expressions, body language and action scenes indicate that the role could offer him another performance-oriented character.
Mohan Babu also makes an impact in his brief appearance. The teaser provides glimpses of other key characters played by Kadayu Lohar, Raghav Juyal and Sampoornesh Babu.
Avinash Kolla’s production design creates a gritty and realistic world, while CH Sai’s cinematography uses atmospheric lighting, smoke-filled visuals and carefully composed frames to enhance the mood.
Anirudh Ravichander’s background score begins with haunting chants and gradually builds into a powerful orchestration, adding intensity to the teaser.
Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner, The Paradise appears to be mounted on a grand scale.
Overall, the teaser is intense, visually impressive and filled with powerful moments. The film is scheduled to release on September 24.
