Flipkart GOAT Sale: Up to 50% off, early access, video demos go live today

New Delhi: Flipkart is once again rolling out its biggest shopping event of the year. The GOAT (Greatest of All Time) Sale 2025 begins on July 12 and will run till July 17 across India. Flipkart Plus members are getting early access starting today, July 11. The company says this year’s sale is built for how Indians shop now, and what’s next, with short delivery windows, live video demos, and daily deal drops.

Apart from deep discounts across smartphones, electronics, fashion, home appliances, and groceries, this year’s edition will also bring gamified formats like “Tick Tock Deals,” early bird passes, and flash events at midnight. Flipkart is also introducing a new “Flipkart Minutes” format, offering 10-minute delivery on select mobile and electronics deals.

What time does the Flipkart GOAT Sale start and how to get early access?

The sale officially begins on July 12 for all customers. But for Flipkart Plus members, early access started on July 11. Buyers can activate their Plus membership to unlock early entry, special reward multipliers, and extra SuperCoins.

On July 11, Flipkart also started rolling out “category-specific access passes” and limited “early bird” deals in high-demand segments like mobiles, home appliances, and fashion. Many customers are already reporting heavy activity on the app during these pre-sale hours.

Smart shopping, live demos, and video-led commerce

One new trend Flipkart is banking on this year is live video commerce. Creators are already hosting daily livestreams during the intrigue period, where they showcase trending products, unbox deals, and answer questions. These are being used to promote limited-time flash drops and gamified offers.

“90 percent of users who joined live sessions came back to the same category later,” said Flipkart. The company claims this is helping drive better discovery and stronger conversions.

Video demos are also being used in product pages across categories. From gadgets to grooming products, customers can now watch explainers before adding to cart.

Midnight sales, 10-minute delivery, and gamified shopping

Flipkart is launching a “Midnight Drop Sale” from 12 AM to 2 AM, where mobiles and electronics will be up for grabs with the promise of delivery in 10 minutes via Flipkart Minutes. This fast format is being tested in select cities.

Other gamified features include:

  • “Tick Tock Deals” that refresh hourly
  • Coupon unlocks and treasure hunts
  • A “GOAT Top 50” list of curated trending items
  • “Flipkart Plus Silver Challenge” where customers can earn extra SuperCoins by completing quizzes and tasks

Discounts, bank offers, and new launches

Across the site, buyers can expect discounts up to 50 percent on smartphones from Apple, Samsung, Vivo, Realme, and Motorola. Home appliances from LG, TCL, Sony, and Whirlpool are also available with no-cost EMI and exchange deals. Tech accessories, laptops, and tablets from HP, Asus, OnePlus, and CMF are being featured under the “GOAT Top 50.”

Buyers can avail up to 10 percent instant savings with Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, and IDFC First Bank cards. Prepaid bonuses, Flipkart SuperCoins, and bundled exchange deals are also available.

Pratik Shetty, Senior Director, Marketing and Media at Flipkart, said the sale is meant to be more than just discounts.

“With innovations like live commerce, voice search, and seamless exchange, we’re simplifying discovery and decision-making across categories,” Shetty said. “We’re also rolling out several firsts: from hyperlocal delivery and creator-led formats to gamified experiences that deepen engagement.”

He added, “GOAT 2025 is more than a sale, it’s a strategic moment connecting millions of shoppers with MSMEs, emerging brands, and regional sellers.”
