- It will end at 8:16 am on Thursday, June 11, 2026.
This Panchak is starting from Saturday, hence it will be considered as ‘Mrityu Panchak’.
Do not do these things during Panchak
Collecting Wood:Do not collect wood in the house during Panchak. Do not collect weeds. It is not considered good to do so. Due to this there is fear of fire.
Roofing the house: Do not get the roof installed during Panchak. It is believed that this can cause troubles and loss of money in the house.
Marriage-Engagement: During Panchak, do not do auspicious works like marriage, engagement or Mundan Sanskar. These actions do not yield auspicious results.
Making a cot or bed: It is not auspicious to buy or weave a new bed or cot during the Panchak period. This has a negative impact on the happiness and peace of the house.
Southward journey: One should not travel in the south direction during Panchak period. This direction is considered to be the direction of death of Yamraj. Traveling in this direction during Panchak can be painful.
To perform the last rites: In case of someone’s death during Panchak, there is a tradition of performing the last rites with special rules. For peace, five effigies are made and burnt along with the dead body.
