SBI Recruitment 2026: 7150 Apprentice Jobs Announced, Apply Before Deadline – Detail Inside


<p>State Bank of India has announced 7150 Apprentice vacancies, offering a great opportunity for graduates. Candidates from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana can apply before June 8, with chances of posting in their home districts.</p><img>For young people who dream of settling down in the banking sector, State Bank of India (SBI) has brought some amazing news. The bank has released an official notification to fill a massive 7,150 Apprentice posts. If you have any degree certificate, this is a golden chance to start your career in the country’s largest public sector bank. Especially for the youth of our Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, there are a large number of vacancies. The online registration for this recruitment has already started on May 19, 2026. Eligible and interested candidates must apply online by June 8, 2026.<img>Out of the total 7,150 posts in this notification, the Telugu states have received a large share. There are 709 vacancies in Andhra Pradesh and 491 in Telangana. Here are the district-wise vacancy details: Andhra Pradesh Districts: NTR district has the highest number of posts with 97. Also, Krishna has 61, Eluru 53, West Godavari 53, Visakhapatnam 45, Anakapalli 35, SPSR Nellore 32, East Godavari 30, Chittoor 30, YSR Kadapa 27, Tirupati 26, Guntur 20, Vizianagaram 20, Kakinada 19, Annamayya 19, Srikakulam 18, Palnadu 17, Kurnool 16, Prakasam 15, Anantapur 14, Nandyal 13, Sri Sathya Sai 12, Konaseema 11, Parvathipuram Manyam 10, Alluri Sitarama Raju 8, and Bapatla has 8 vacancies. Telangana Districts: Nalgonda district has the highest number of posts with 75. After that, Khammam has 64, Suryapet 53, Mahabubnagar 50, Nagarkurnool 26, Rangareddy 22, Wanaparthy 21, Narayanpet 17, Yadadri 16, Nizamabad 16, Jogulamba Gadwal 15, Medchal Malkajgiri 12, Hyderabad 10, Bhadradri Kothagudem 8, Karimnagar 8, Hanumakonda 6, Warangal 6, Siddipet 6, Mancherial 6, Nirmal 5, Adilabad 5, Kamareddy 5, Sangareddy 4, Medak 4, Jagtial 4, Vikarabad 4, Mahabubabad 3, Komaram Bheem Asifabad 2, Jangaon 2, Rajanna Sircilla 2, Warangal Urban 2, Jayashankar Bhupalpally 1, Mulugu 1, and Warangal Rural has 1 vacancy.<img>Candidates who want to apply for these posts must have completed any degree (graduation) from a recognized university or institute. As for age, you must be between a minimum of 20 years and a maximum of 28 years. This age limit applies to General and EWS category candidates. As per government rules, there will be age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, and PWBD candidates. Selected candidates will have a training period of one year. During this training, apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000. This stipend is only for one year. Since this is purely an apprenticeship program, there will be no other allowances or additional benefits. But this is a super update to learn the basics of the banking sector.<img>The selection of candidates is done purely on merit. There is a two-stage process for this. First, an online written test will be conducted. After that, there will be a local language test. The online exam is likely to be held in July 2026. This exam is for a total of 100 marks. It will have 100 objective-type questions. You will get only 60 minutes (1 hour) to write the exam. The test has 4 sections: 1. General or Financial Awareness, 2. General English, 3. Quantitative Aptitude, 4. Reasoning Ability &amp; Computer Aptitude. After passing this written test, a local language test will be held to check the proficiency in the local language, Telugu, for candidates from the Telugu states. If you have studied Telugu as a subject in your 10th or Inter, you might get an exemption from this language test. Exam centers are in: Chirala, Guntur, Vijayawada, Kadapa, Kakinada, Kurnool, Rajamahendravaram, Tirupati, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Anantapur, Nellore, Ongole (in AP) and Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Khammam, Warangal (in Telangana).<img>Before applying for these posts, candidates must follow an important rule. You cannot apply directly on the SBI website. First, you have to register on the central government’s NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme) portal. Step 1: Registration on NAPS Portal. First, visit https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and complete your registration with your details. Step 2: Visit SBI Careers Portal. After getting the NAPS registration ID, visit the official careers website of State Bank of India at https://www.sbi.co.in/careers or sbi.co.in. Step 3: Click the Link. Go to the ‘Join SBI’ section on the homepage and click on the ‘SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026’ link. Step 4: Fill the Application Form. Enter your personal details, educational qualifications, and NAPS registration number to complete the application form. Upload your photo and signature. Step 5: Fee Payment &amp; Submission. Pay the application fee online based on your category. Cross-check if all details are correct and then submit the application. Print or download the application receipt for future reference. Application Fee Details: General, OBC, and EWS candidates have to pay an application fee of ₹300. There is no fee for SC, ST, and PWBD candidates; they are given a full exemption.
