The shares of Elitecon International surged to hit a 10 per cent upper circuit on Tuesday despite mixed trading seen in key domestic indices -Sensex and Nifty- on the rollout of a new auction system for stocks with futures and options (F&O) contracts.
The FMCG stock opened at Rs 17.22 on the BSE but quickly hit a 10 per cent upper circuit at Rs 18.94 as trading volume spiked over three times, marking a back-to-back upper circuit for the stock.
Last seen, the company shares were trading at Rs 18.79, up 9.12 per cent from its last close. Meanwhile, the company’s market value stood at Rs 3,003.58 crore.
Over 17 per cent return in two days
The stock has climbed more than 17 per cent over the last two days. The BSE has moved the stock into the Short Term Additional Surveillance Measure Stage 1 (ST ASM-1) group.
The stock’s 14-day Relative Strength Index (RSI) is 32. Generally, an RSI above 70 suggests a stock is overvalued, while a level below 30 indicates it may be undervalued or oversold.
Share price history
The stock reached a high of Rs 422.65 in August 2025 and a low of Rs 15.30 within the last year. BSE data shows a 1,689.52% return over five years. However, it has dropped 81 per cent so far this year, compared to an 8.12 per cent decline in the BSE index.

Brent crude oil prices increased by 1.36% to $84.91 per barrel. Additionally, exchange data shows that Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) purchased Rs 922.26 crore in equities on Monday.
Most Asian markets, including South Korea, Japan, and Hong Kong, saw declines, though the Shanghai Composite index trended higher.
