Vaibhav Sooryavanshi IPL 2026 Awards: IPL 2026 may be over, but only one name is echoing everywhere in the cricket world, that is Vaibhav Suryavanshi. This 15 year old young batsman of Rajasthan Royals created such havoc with his bat in this season that big legends kept looking at the record books. Vaibhav, who scored the most runs in the entire season, created history this year by single-handedly winning five major awards. When the awards were announced in the closing ceremony of the tournament, it seemed as if the stage was a punishment only for this young player.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi completely dominated the awards night of IPL 2026. He became the first player to win five individual awards in a single season of IPL. During this, he was given Orange Cap and Rs 10 lakh for scoring the maximum 776 runs in the season. At the same time, for the best all-round performance in the entire tournament, he was given Rs 15 lakh and the Most Valuable Player trophy.

Emerging Player of the Season was also Vaibhav Suryavanshi, for which he was awarded Rs 10 lakh and a trophy. He was given the Super Six Award trophy and Rs 10 lakh for hitting the maximum number of 72 sixes in the season. He was also named Super Striker of the Season for scoring runs at the most dangerous strike rate in the entire season. For which he was given a Tata Sierra car. Last season also, Vaibhav, who became a super striker, got ‘Tata Curvv’ car.

Why was this season special for Vaibhav?
Even though his team could not win the title, Vaibhav took T20 cricket to a new level with his batting. He hit a total of 72 sixes this season, which is a new record in the history of IPL. He left behind the record of 59 sixes of the legendary Chris Gayle. He also emerged as the uncapped player who scored the most runs in a single season of IPL. He also became the youngest batsman in IPL history to complete 1,000 runs playing the least number of balls.
