Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reiterated his resolve to make the district the most developed and modern city of the state in the Singrauli Mahotsav. Along with development, he also emphasized on increasing cultural and spiritual consciousness and construction of Geeta Bhawan.
Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state government is working with full commitment for the balanced development of every district of the state. He said that this day dedicated to the development, pride and public welfare of Singrauli district will prove to be historic for the district. The Chief Minister assured that in the coming time, Singrauli will be made the most developed and modern city of the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Singrauli Festival and City Pride Day-2026 program organized at Chun Kumari Stadium in Baidhan on Saturday.
Cultural and spiritual consciousness is increasing under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with the development work, spiritual and cultural consciousness is also expanding in the country. He said that the grand Dham of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya has become a center of faith for the countrymen, while Bhojshala is receiving the blessings of Mother Vagdevi.
He said that the state government is working towards construction of Geeta Bhavan in every city to preserve the cultural heritage and connect the people spiritually. This will also promote cultural activities and the new generation will be able to connect with Indian culture.
Emphasis on making Singrauli a strong center of energy, development and culture
The Chief Minister said that Singrauli is not only a major center of energy production, but it is also emerging as a major center of development, culture and new possibilities. He said that events like Singrauli Mahotsav and Nagar Gaurav Diwas are a medium to strengthen the cultural identity and social participation of the district. The Chief Minister said that such events will be organized every year with enthusiasm and grandeur, so that the cultural heritage and social unity of the district can be further strengthened.
The event was organized in the presence of public representatives
Many public representatives including Public Health Engineering Minister and Singrauli district in-charge Minister Sampatia Uike, Minister of State for Panchayat and Rural Development Radha Singh, MP Dr. Rajesh Mishra, Madhya Pradesh Home and Infrastructure Construction Board Chairman Om Jain and MLA Ramniwas Shah were present in the program. During the Singrauli Mahotsav, a large number of local citizens participated in the program and expressed enthusiasm over the government’s plans for the development of the district.
