Following the launch of the Brezza facelift, Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to introduce midlife updates for its four popular models – the Baleno, Fronx, Grand Vitara and XL6. The new Maruti XL6 facelift is expected to arrive before the end of this year, and is likely to receive updates similar to the recently unveiled new Suzuki XL7, which was showcased at the ongoing GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show 2026.
New 2026 Maruti XL6 Facelift – What to Expect?
Similar to the new XL7, the updated Maruti XL6 is expected to feature a heavily revised and bolder front fascia. The MPV is likely to get a newly-designed and larger grille with gloss black slats, a tweaked bumper, new headlamp housing with an extended vertical trim. However, the LED headlamps and bonnet are expected to remain unchanged.
The side profile will look largely similar to the outgoing model, expect for the newly-designed 16-inch alloy wheels. The rear profile of the new Suzuki XL7 features the blacked-out strip on the bootlid, a new spoiler, smoked taillamps and blacked-out spoiler. The India-spec XL6 facelift is expected to get a similar design.
Inside the cabin, the new 2026 Maruti XL6 facelift is expected receive a larger and updated touchscreen infotainment system as we have seen in the new XL7. The MPV might also get new cabin theme, seat upholstery and trims.
The existing features are expected to remain unchanged including an automatic climate control, keyless entry and go with push-button start, height adjustable driver’s seat, a 360-degree parking camera, leatherette seats and steering wheel, ventilated front seats and tyre pressure monitoring system.
No changes are expected under the hood. The new 2026 Maruti XL6 facelift is expected to continue with the 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine with manual and automatic transmission options, and 1.5L petrol + CNG with a manual gearbox powertrain option. With the midlife update, the XL6 CNG is likely to benefit from an underbody-mounted tank, freeing up additional boot space.
