Ansh born in a farmer family
Ansh Patidar is a resident of Borla village in Barwani district of Madhya Pradesh. He was born in a farmer family. His father used to work very hard in the fields, but due to repeated crop failure and not getting the right price for the produce, the financial condition of the family was not good. Ansh did not want his mother to have to sell her jewelery to fund his studies. So, he decided to do something himself to improve the condition of the family.
Starting from ₹3,000
Ansh used to help his father in farming work. During this time he closely observed the problems of the farmers. He noticed that farmers were paying more for pesticides with the same chemical composition. It was from here that he got the idea for his first business. With a nominal investment of just ₹3,000, he purchased farm products directly from manufacturers in Gujarat and started selling them to local farmers at low prices. Due to availability of good quality products at low prices, farmers’ confidence in Ansh increased and gradually his work spread to nearby villages also.
Became a businessman at the age of 15
According to reports, Ansh became one of the youngest businessmen in India to get GST registration at the age of just 15. It was not easy to handle both school studies on one hand and business on the other. Ansh used to go to school during the day, go to different villages in the evening to meet farmers and return home at night to study. His hard work soon bore fruit. It is said that in just 18 months the turnover of his business reached around ₹ 40 lakh.
Loan of Rs 95 lakh at the age of 17
To make his business bigger, Ansh started an agri-tech platform. But this idea did not succeed as expected. The result was that at the age of just 17, Ansh incurred a huge debt of Rs 95 lakh. Anyone can lose courage after seeing such a huge debt, but Ansh did not give up. By working with the farmers, he won their trust again and gradually paid off all his debts.
New beginning in 2022
In the year 2022, Ansh Patidar started a company named ‘Ariva Organics’. This company focuses on organic pesticides and drone-based farming solutions. The company introduced technology that helped farmers reduce the costs of water, fertilizer and labor. By using technology and innovation in farming, his business started growing rapidly. According to reports, within just one year the valuation of the company increased to more than ₹50 crore. It is reported that the company has helped more than 5,000 farmers on more than 15,000 acres of agricultural land.
From a loan of ₹95 lakh to an empire of ₹50 crore
It is no less than a miracle that a boy, who was in debt of Rs 95 lakh at the age of just 17, overcomes the same challenge and builds a company worth more than Rs 50 crore in just a few years. Ansh Patidar’s story is not just the success story of a young businessman, but it shows that any difficult situation can be changed if one has the passion to convert problems into opportunities, the mindset to understand the pain of farmers and the courage to adopt new technology.
