The inaugural edition of the FIFA Club World’s revamped format will see a blockbuster final as European Champions Paris Saint-Germain go head-to-head with English Giants Chelsea at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Sunday (July 13).
The match will mark a battle of two teams, who won European titles this season, as PSG lifted the UEFA Champions League trophy for the first time this season. Meanwhile, Chelsea lifted the Conference League trophy, which is UEFA’s third-tier trophy. The victory meant that the Blues have won every international trophy possible.
Chelsea are looking to win the competition for the second time, having lifted the trophy in 2022. This will be their third after a defeat in their maiden appearance in 2012. On the other hand, PSG are playing the competition for the first time and can secure the title in their maiden outing.
