As soon as the trailer of Nitesh Tiwari’s mega budget film ‘Ramayanam Part 1’ was released, a huge discussion started on the social media platform X (Twitter). For the first time, detailed glimpses of Ranbir Kapoor’s Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi’s Sita and Yash’s Ravana avatar were seen in the trailer. While many viewers praised the visuals, Yash’s screen presence and the grand scale of the film, some users were not completely satisfied with Ranbir Kapoor’s dialogue delivery, music and certain parts of the VFX. Overall, as soon as the trailer was released, there was a flood of mixed reactions on social media.

Another viewer wrote that Yash’s Ravana looked impressive and the VFX are also fine, but some characters including Dasharatha looked more artificial than necessary. He also did not like the decision to divide the film into two parts.

Another user said, “From an outside audience’s perspective, this trailer doesn’t seem to be enough to attract people who are not already associated with ‘Ramayana’. It looks more like a CGI-oriented film. The second trailer should focus more on emotions and a big iconic scene.”

One user gave his reaction on the trailer and wrote, “My first reaction to the trailer of ‘Ramayana’ is quite positive. This time the VFX look better than ever. The makers have also made good changes in the lighting and visual tone. Yash’s Ravana’s entry looked very powerful, while the visual effects of the ‘Ram Yug’ portion are also superb. Ranbir Kapoor is looking good in his character. I believe that as the release approaches and the dialogue promos come out, Will come, his impact will increase further. The glimpse of Hanuman has not been shown in the trailer yet. Overall the trailer looked quite impressive and I think it can be included in the biggest hits of the year.

About ‘Ramayanam’
‘Ramayanam’ has been produced by Namit Malhotra. The budget of the film is said to be around Rs 4000 crore. Made in two parts, the first part of this film will be released on Diwali 2026 and the second part on Diwali 2027. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor and Yash, actors like Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, Rakul Preet Singh, Vivek Oberoi, Arun Govil, Ravi Dubey and Kajal Aggarwal have also worked in the film.
