Demonstration of farmers continues in Madhya Pradesh regarding purchase of moong and other demands. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that the government has formed a committee to talk to the farmers. He has appealed to the protesting farmers to come forward for talks so that the common people do not face problems.
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Farmers in Madhya Pradesh are protesting regarding the purchase of moong and other demands related to farming. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said on Wednesday that the state government has formed a committee to talk to the farmers. Its objective is to address the concerns of farmers through talks.
Chief Minister made just one appeal to the farmers
CM Yadav also appealed to the protesters not to do anything that could cause trouble to the general public. He stressed that the state is observing this year as “Krishi Kalyan Varsh” and the government is running several schemes for the welfare of farmers.
This MP minister will discuss with farmers
The Chief Minister said, “We are celebrating ‘Krishi Kalyan Varsh’ across Madhya Pradesh and are doing many things for the benefit of the farmers. I have formed a committee to discuss with the farmers on their issues. Yesterday we had sent the state Agriculture Minister Adal Singh Kansana and today also our team, which includes Agriculture Minister Kansana, Minister Krishna Gaur, Minister Vishwas Sarang, Minister Rakesh Singh and senior officials, will discuss with the farmers.” He reiterated that the government is committed to addressing the concerns of farmers through constructive dialogue. CM Yadav said, “We request the farmers to hold talks. The government has always stood with the farmers and welcomes their positive suggestions. At the same time, both sides should also ensure that the general public does not face any inconvenience. We believe that a solution can be found through talks. We hope that all our farmer organizations, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh and other organizations will also talk about the welfare of the farmers along with the welfare of the public.”
CM Mohan Yadav congratulated Guru Purnima
Along with this, the Chief Minister extended greetings on the occasion of Guru Purnima. He said that the state government has recently inaugurated all the new Sandipani schools built in the name of Maharishi Sandipani. He said, “Within the last 15 days, we have inaugurated all the Sandipani schools built in the state. Our government is spending about Rs 25,000 crore on these schools in different phases. These will become one of the best schools in the country and will be a big gift to school education in Madhya Pradesh.”
Happy International Tiger Day
Apart from this, the Chief Minister also greeted the people on International Tiger Day. He said that Madhya Pradesh has the highest population of tigers in the country. He further said, “On the occasion of Tiger Day, I congratulate everyone associated with wildlife conservation. It is a matter of pride that Madhya Pradesh has the highest number of tigers in India, and I congratulate everyone for this achievement.”
