College reporting not required if you choose upgrade option
According to the new rules of NEET UG Counseling 2026, if a candidate gets allotted a seat and chooses the option of “Upgrade” or “Willing to Upgrade” in the next round, then he/she will not need to report to the college just to complete the admission formalities. During this time, his current seat will remain safe in the counseling system of MCC and he will be able to wait to get a better seat in the next round. This will provide relief to students from frequent traveling and unnecessary document processes.
