New Delhi [भारत]July 29 (ANI): BJP’s National Minority Front is organizing the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Unity March, which will take place in September 2026 and end in October.
According to sources, this march is based on the ideology of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Ekta March aims to connect ‘Gen-Z’ and the youth of India with the ideology of Dr. Kalam, PM Modi’s vision of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ and the spirit of public service. This march has been organized right after the protests by the youth in the country over the paper leak.
Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Unity March
The march will start from Kashmir and end at Dr Kalam Memorial in Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu. The participants will travel across India passing through states like Punjab, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. The message of this yatra focused on the vision of ‘United India, Strong India’ will be conveyed to the general public.
This yatra route will pass through temples, mosques, churches and dargahs, which will facilitate exchange of ideas and share messages with the people. Starting from Kashmir, the yatra will end at the Kalam Memorial in Rameshwaram, with lakhs of youth expected to join the initiative along the way.
“Salaam-e-Kalam” campaign
Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Minority Front has organized nationwide tribute programs under the “Salaam-e-Kalam” campaign. To remember the legacy of Bharat Ratna, former President and great scientist Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Minority Front will launch the “Salaam-e-Kalam” campaign on July 27. Under the leadership of Morcha’s National President Jamal Siddiqui, the campaign will include various programs in the memory of Dr. Kalam at the district headquarters.
National President of BJP Minority Morcha, Jamal Siddiqui finalized the details of the program after consultation with the national team of the Morcha. He said that the objective of the “Salaam-e-Kalam” campaign is to convey to the public the unique contribution of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam to India’s development, science, education and nation-building and to pay him a befitting tribute. He said that the life of Dr. Kalam is a source of inspiration for the youth and the entire country including the Pasmanda community.
BJP has always respected great personalities transcending religion and caste and recognized their significant contribution to national interest and nation-building.
‘Unity March’ also organized
He announced that a “Unity March” would be organized from the residence of Dr. Abdul Kalam to his memorial. This march is dedicated to the ideals of national unity, patriotism and determination for a developed India. Its objective is to share Dr. Kalam’s vision of a developed India with the public and connect the youth, including Generation Z, with the mission of nation-building. Through this campaign, the youth will be encouraged to actively participate in the national effort to realize the goal of a developed India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, thereby accelerating the country’s progress towards Dr. Kalam’s vision.
The occasion will also mark the installation of a statue of Dr. Kalam and a program led by Jamal Siddiqui that will highlight the inspiring legacy of Dr. Kalam. Many dignitaries including Uttarakhand Waqf Board Chairman Shadab Shams and Tamil Nadu BJP Minority Morcha State President will participate in this program. This program organized in the district will include activities like offering floral tributes to the statue or portrait of Dr. Kalam, organizing discussion forums and organizing medical camps. Additionally, a special public awareness campaign will be conducted through social media. Through these initiatives, the ideals of Dr. Kalam, his scientific approach and his vision of a developed India will be conveyed to people from all sections of the society. (ANI)
