A video of two girls from Bengaluru regarding this question is becoming increasingly viral on social media. The special thing is that both of them shared the experience of their professional life in a very simple manner, due to which thousands of people are feeling connected.
Education is equal but one is a full-time content creator and the other a freelancer.
On one side is Ananya, who works as an analyst at EY, while on the other side is Monsoon Dey, who is a full-time content creator and freelancer. Both told that they studied BBA from Christ University, but chose different paths for career.
Fixed salary every month vs uncertain earning
First of all in the video both of them compared their earning methods. Ananya told that she gets her salary on the fixed date every month. Monsoon said that there is no fixed time for payment in freelancing. Many times, to get the money, the client has to follow up again and again and wait even after sending the invoice. However, Monsoon says that there is no fixed limit of earning in this profession. The better the skill and the more work, the higher is the earning potential.
Big difference between office routine and work from home
Regarding corporate life, Ananya told that her entire day is planned in advance. Work schedule, meetings and deadlines are all planned in advance. Monsoon, on the other hand, said that his day depends on which project and which deadline is on priority that day. Talking about commuting, Ananya spends about an hour every day in Bengaluru’s traffic, whereas Monsoon’s witty reply was that her journey is only from bed to desk.

Holidays, lunch breaks and work pressure
Both also made interesting comparisons regarding holidays and lunch breaks. Ananya told that she has to apply first to take leave, whereas Monsoon does not need permission from anyone. Regarding lunch, Ananya eats food at the scheduled time, whereas Monsoon admitted that sometimes due to being busy with work, he does not even remember to eat. Talking about work pressure, Ananya said that constant meetings and deadlines can increase stress.
