Are the women of the city safe? Truth hidden under investigation

Taking a tough stand on the matter, a senior police officer has made it clear that no matter what argument the accused gives, asking any woman for her “rate” at midnight and offering money is an unpardonable crime. This is not the first incident of misbehavior with women in Bengaluru in recent times; Earlier, cases of a delivery boy forcibly entering the house and sexual harassment by a cab driver have also come to light. At present, the police is thoroughly investigating what was the exact sequence of conversation that night, but this brave woman has proved that if courage is shown in time, the courage of criminals can be defeated!

Are such incidents increasing in Bengaluru?

This matter has come to light at a time when many incidents regarding women’s safety have been in the news in Bengaluru before. In recent months, cases such as a delivery agent barging into a woman’s home and a cab driver allegedly sexually assaulting a female passenger have raised concerns. Such incidents which are continuously coming to light indicate that along with strict laws, prompt police action is also very important to ensure the safety of women in public places.
