Air India Launches Easy Connect Flights From Amritsar to 27 International Destinations

Air India has started its Easy Connect service from Amritsar, allowing international travellers to complete immigration and through check-in before leaving Punjab. The new service means passengers flying via Delhi no longer need to collect and re-check baggage or switch terminals during their onward journey.

For travellers from Punjab, especially those heading to the UK, Canada, the US, Australia, and Europe, this removes one of the most frustrating parts of an international connection.

Under the Easy Connect programme, passengers departing from Amritsar can:

• Check in once for their entire journey.
• Complete immigration at Amritsar Airport.
• Transfer through Delhi as international transit passengers.
• Keep checked baggage tagged through to the final destination.

Instead of navigating multiple airport procedures abroad, travellers now connect through Delhi with a much simpler transit experience.

Two Daily Easy Connect Flights From Amritsar

Air India has designated two daily flights for the programme:

• AI1113: Amritsar (09:10 AM) to Delhi (10:40 AM)
• AI1115: Amritsar (10:00 PM) to Delhi (11:20 PM)

These flights connect with Air India’s international departures within four hours of arrival in Delhi.

The airline expects this inbound Easy Connect service to begin within the next two months, making it the first Indian carrier to implement the government’s inbound hub-and-spoke transfer process.

Amritsar joins Varanasi in the Easy Connect network. Air India says Ahmedabad, Goa, Kochi, and several other Indian cities will be added over the coming weeks as the programme expands through Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.
