“If you ask for CCTV footage from Election Commission, they do not give us footage”
Rahul Gandhi said that the Congress is constantly demanding CCTV footage from the Election Commission, but the Commission does not provide it. He says that the Commission will have to give this footage under any circumstances. Rahul alleged that by repeatedly denying, the Commission is proving that it is protecting those who steal votes. He said that CID of Karnataka has sent 18 letters to the Election Commission in the last 18 months and only some basic information was sought in them. But the Election Commission has not given any answer till date. Rahul raised the question that why the Commission is hiding this information? According to him, if these facts are revealed, then it will be clear where and how the entire operation is being run.
