India Squad for Sri Lanka: Team India has been announced for the 2 test series against Sri Lanka. Washington Sundar is out of the first test team. A new face has entered the 15-member team. Four specialist fast bowlers have got a place in the team. Manav Suthar, who exploded in his debut Test against Afghanistan, has also been included in the Test team for the Sri Lanka tour.

Ravindra Jadeja returns to the team

Ravindra Jadeja has returned to Team India for the Sri Lanka tour. He was rested from the only Test against Afghanistan. Gurnoor Brar, who was selected for the first time for the Test team against Afghanistan, did not get a chance to debut. It is expected that the wait for his Test debut in Sri Lanka will end.

The selection of Madhya Pradesh all-rounder Saransh Jain in the team was surprising. Saransh is a left-handed batsman as well as a right-handed off-spinner. In his first class career, apart from scoring more than 2200 runs in 54 matches, he has taken 188 wickets.

2 test series from Sri Lanka

India has to play a 2 test series on Sri Lanka tour. The first test match will start from August 15 in Galle. The second test will be played in Colombo from 23rd August. Team India will travel to Sri Lanka on 4th August, where it will also play a 4-day warm-up match in Colombo from 7th August.
