New Delhi: Polish star Iga Swiatek produced an excellent display to thrash Liudmila Samsonova in straight sets and reach her maiden Wimbledon semi-finals on Wednesday, July 09. Swiatek dispatched Samsonova 6-2, 7-5 in the quarters to book her spot in the semi-final in women’s singles at Wimbledon 2025.
The former world no.1 will take on the winner of the quarter-final between Mirra Andreeva and Belinda Bencic in the semi-final.
