Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority
More than 54 thousand people have applied under the residential plot scheme of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida), whose fate will now be decided on 11 July 2025. The authority has made complete preparations for the lottery process of the scheme. This lottery will be held at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, where slips of the names of the applicants will be removed and allotted plots.
276 plots will be allotted
The scheme was launched on 21 April, which includes a total of 276 plots of 200 sqm area. Of these, 214 plots are reserved for general category, 48 plots farmer quota, and 14 plots for active industrial category. The process of application in the scheme was kept completely online, and a total of 54,289 applications were received from those who want to build houses around the Yeida region, especially Noida International Airport.
Yeida canceled so many applications
The authority had adopted a fixed procedure to investigate the applications, under which a chance was also given to settle the objections. After investigation, 66 applications were canceled due to violations or errors of rules, while the remaining 54,223 applications have been included in the final list. This list has been uploaded on the official website of Yeida and these applicants will be included in the lottery on 11 July.
Lottery will be removed like this
Rakesh Kumar Singh, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the authority, informed that the lottery process will be conducted in a transparent manner under the supervision of former judges. During this time, the entire process will be videographed and photographed and it will also be broadcast live telecast through various mediums, so that all applicants and common people can see it.
