Bullet Train Uttar Pradesh: The Central Government has taken a big step towards giving new impetus to the high-speed rail network in North India. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has said that the proposed Delhi-Varanasi-Patna-Siliguri Bullet Train Corridor will be developed as per the vision of the Prime Minister. This project is considered important towards providing fast, modern and safe rail connectivity between Uttar Pradesh, Delhi-NCR and Eastern India.
Travel from Delhi to Lucknow will be very fast
According to the Railway Minister, after the completion of the project, the distance from Delhi to Lucknow can be covered in only 2 hours 10 minutes. At the same time, the journey from Jewar International Airport to Lucknow will be about 1 hour 40 minutes. At present this journey is completed in about six and a half hours by trains like Vande Bharat and Shatabdi.

Speed of 350 km per hour, many cities of UP will be connected
The maximum speed of trains on the proposed high-speed rail corridor will be 350 km per hour, while regular operations will be operated at a speed of 320 km per hour. This route will connect Delhi, Noida, Jewar Airport, Mathura, Agra, Etawah, Kannauj, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Bhadohi and Varanasi. Apart from this, there is also a proposal for a separate high-speed branch line from Lucknow to Ayodhya, which can reduce the travel time between the two cities to 35 to 40 minutes.
Brainstorming on station construction, development will get a boost
Several locations are being considered for the bullet train station in Lucknow, including Kisan Path, Vrindavan Yojana, Ekana Stadium and Gomti Riverfront. Experts believe that this project will give a new impetus to trade, tourism, investment and real estate, while passengers will benefit from huge time savings.
