The employee claims that he joined the company after passing all the interview rounds and receiving the offer letter, but on the very second day of joining, he was fired on the grounds that his culture/personality assessment was not as per the company’s expectations. After this post surfaced, a new debate has started regarding corporate hiring process, personality test and professional behavior with employees.
Resigned from old company and joined new job
According to the post, the candidate had successfully completed all the interviews of the company. Before issuing the offer, a culture or personality assessment was also done, in which questions related to personality, behavior, style of working in a team and reaction in different situations were asked. The candidate answered all the answers honestly and after that he got the offer letter.
After getting the job, he resigned from his old company, shifted to Gurugram, took a room in PG and joined the new job. On the first day the team was introduced and the usual onboarding process was completed. But the next day HR suddenly called for a meeting and informed about termination of employment with immediate effect.

‘Neutral personality’ became the reason?
The employee claims that a former colleague later revealed that the results of her assessment within the company were labeled “Neutral Personality”, while the company reportedly preferred more extroverted employees. After this incident, many users raised the question that if the assessment had already been completed, then why action was taken after issuing the offer letter, making the candidate leave the old job, calling him to another city and conducting onboarding. Some people called it extremely unprofessional, while some users believed that there could be a possibility of budget, change in hiring plan or some other internal reason behind it. At the same time, some people also advised the affected employee to seek legal advice and gather information about his rights.
