Niwari News: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated 44 development works worth more than Rs 109 crore and performed bhumi pujan of 15 works worth more than Rs 54 crore in Niwari. Know the big gifts received by the district.

Giving a big gift of development projects in Niwari district of Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the aim of the government is to improve the lives of the poor, farmers, youth and women. He inaugurated 44 development works worth more than Rs 109 crore and performed bhumi pujan of 15 new works worth more than Rs 54 crore in Niwari. The Chief Minister described it as a new chapter in the development of the district.

Expansion of Collectorate, District Hospital and health facilities

The Chief Minister inaugurated the new Joint Collectorate building constructed at a cost of about Rs 25.63 crore and the 100 bedded District Hospital which was upgraded at a cost of about Rs 20 crore. Apart from this, new primary health centres, AYUSH wings, Sanjeevani clinics, stop dams, Anganwadi centers and various road projects were also inaugurated. These projects are expected to strengthen the health and infrastructure facilities of the district.

Government’s focus on development of Bundelkhand

Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the development of Bundelkhand is among the top priorities of the government. He said that Ken-Betwa Link Project will benefit lakhs of farmers of 168 villages of Niwari. Besides, the government is also emphasizing on increasing the income of farmers by promoting milk production, fisheries and other income enhancing activities.

CM made many big announcements

The Chief Minister announced opening of Law College and MBA College in Niwari, construction of modern bus stand, starting of Mukhyamantri Sugam Sahayata bus service, construction of Geeta Bhawan in every Nagar Panchayat, cow shelter in Taricharkala and construction of a new bridge on Kanare river. He said that these decisions will give new impetus to the development of the district.
