Vaibhav Suryavanshi created history by scoring 81 runs in 48 balls in the Harare T20I. He became the first player to score two international fifties before the age of 16.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi World Record: India’s 15-year-old young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi has made another big record in his name. In the third and last T20I match played against Zimbabwe in Harare, he played a brilliant inning of 81 runs in 49 balls and played an important role in taking Team India to a strong score of 192/5. With this innings, Vaibhav became the first player in the world to play two innings of 50 or more runs in men’s international cricket before the age of 16.
First player to score 2 international fifties before the age of 16
Earlier, the record of playing innings of more than 50 runs in men’s international cricket before the age of 16 was only in the name of Nepal’s Kushal Malla. Now Vaibhav Suryavanshi has gone ahead of him. Two such international half-century innings have been registered in his name.

The bowlers were getting help on the Harare pitch, so Vaibhav started his innings with patience. He scored only 11 runs on the first 10 balls. At the same time, his score was only 26 runs on the first 20 balls. But in the next 28 balls he scored runs in a rapid manner. He completed his second T20 half-century in just 31 balls. Vaibhav Suryavanshi was heading towards his maiden T20I century, but his journey ended on the bowling of Wesley Madhevere.
