A program was organized under the chairmanship of Deputy CM Harsh Sanghvi on Kargil Vijay Diwas in Gandhinagar. On this occasion, a 100 feet national flag was installed at Ram Chowk of Mota Varachha. Sanghvi described it as a symbol of patriotism, courage and pride. The statue of Sardar Patel was also unveiled in the programme.
A grand program of Kargil Vijay Diwas was organized at Ram Chowk of Mota Varachha under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi. A 100-feet national flag, a symbol of national pride and patriotism, was installed on the occasion, a release said.

Addressing the gathering, the Deputy CM said that “the 100 feet national flag is not just a flagpole, but it is a symbol of patriotism, national unity, courage and pride in the nation.” He further said, “This initiative is a proud moment for the entire region and will inspire the future generations with the spirit of nationalism.”
On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, he also greeted the citizens, students and people who had gathered on Sunday morning to witness this historic event.
Sardar Patel statue unveiled
After the flag hoisting ceremony, the Deputy CM and other dignitaries unveiled the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and paid floral tributes to the brave sons of the country.
On this occasion, the attendees reiterated their commitment to uphold the glory of the Tricolor and strengthen the spirit of patriotism and national unity.
