New Delhi: On the complaint of a new teacher working in a private school, the police has arrested the manager of the school. It is alleged that the manager was allegedly pressurizing the teacher to have physical relations. After the matter came to light, the police registered a case under relevant sections and started investigation.
The teacher lodged a complaint
According to the police, the victim alleged in the complaint that the school manager was continuously harassing her and allegedly pressurizing her to have physical relations. After receiving the complaint, the police started preliminary investigation.
The accused was arrested
On the basis of preliminary investigation and available evidence, the police arrested the accused manager. His interrogation is ongoing and other facts related to the case are also being investigated.
Police busy collecting evidence
The investigating officers are examining CCTV footage, mobile chats, call records and other digital evidence. Statements of school employees and other possible witnesses are also being recorded.
