Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayakan’ makes a spectacular comeback at the box office on the third day. With a spectacular jump in Saturday’s earnings, the film achieved a new milestone in India and across the world.
There was a huge decline in the earnings of Thalapathy Vijay’s action-drama film ‘Jana Nayakan’ on the second day. But on the third day the film made a comeback and collected respectable figures with excellent growth. While in India the film has crossed the gross mark of Rs 100 crore, its worldwide collection has reached close to the club of Rs 200 crore. The special thing is that the biggest contribution to the earnings was made by the Tamil version of the film, while the Hindi and Telugu versions also got good response to the film. Now all eyes are on the first Sunday’s collection.

On the first Saturday i.e. the third day, ‘Jana Nayakan’ made a net collection of around Rs 28.50 crore in India. If compared with Friday’s earnings (Rs 21.15 crore), the collection has increased by about 34.8 percent. With this the total domestic net earning of the film reached ₹92.35 crore. The gross collection has reached Rs 108.34 crore.

On the third day, ‘Jana Nayakan’ made a gross collection of about Rs 20 crore from the overseas market, due to which the three-day gross collection of the film in overseas has become Rs 63.50 crore. It is believed that after the earnings figures of the fourth day i.e. first Sunday come, this film will easily cross the figure of Rs 100 crore nett in India and Rs 200 crore worldwide.
