Weather Today: On July 26, 2026, the weather pattern is going to be changeable in most parts of Bihar and Jharkhand. There will be clouds throughout the day in many districts and there is a possibility of light to moderate rain along with thunderstorms. Alert of strong wind and lightning has also been issued in some areas. Although there is no warning of any major danger in many districts, people have been advised to remain alert during inclement weather. There are indications that rain will continue in both the states for the next few days.
How will the weather be in Bihar?
The maximum temperature in the capital Patna is expected to be 35 degrees and minimum 28 degrees Celsius. It will be partly cloudy throughout the day and there may be rain or thundershowers once or twice. There is a possibility of light rain amidst clouds in Gaya, Bodh Gaya, Nalanda, Rajgir, Sheikhpura and Nawada.
The weather will also remain humid in Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui, Begusarai, Purnia, Araria, Supaul, Madhubani, Chhapra and Darbhanga. There may be rain with thunder at some places in these areas. There will be more chances of rain and thundershowers in north-eastern districts like Araria, Purnia and Supaul between July 27 and 29. Light rain and cloudy weather is also expected in Arrah, Buxar, Sasaram, Biharsharif and Hajipur.

Rainy season will continue in Jharkhand
In Jharkhand also the weather will be completely active on 26th July. There is a possibility of rain amid clouds in Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Bokaro, Deoghar, Vaidyanathdham, Dumka, Giridih, Hazaribagh, Lohardaga, Chaibasa and Daltonganj. In many districts, strong winds with a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour may occur along with thunderstorms.
Light rain or thundershowers may also occur in Dhanbad, Garhwa, Koderma, Ramgarh and Sahebganj. Whereas Gumla and Simdega may receive moderate rains, due to which the temperature will remain relatively low.
How will the weather be in the next 4-5 days?
According to weather data, rain and thundershowers will continue in many districts of Bihar between July 27 and 30. Moderate rain and thunderstorms may occur at isolated places in the districts of North and East Bihar. In Jharkhand too, there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in Deoghar, Bokaro, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Chaibasa and surrounding areas around July 27. After this, there are indications that light to moderate rain will continue in most of the districts on 29th and 30th July.

Avoid standing in open fields, near trees and electric poles during rain and thunderstorms. Before leaving on a journey, definitely check the weather of your district. Farmers and people doing daily work have also been advised to keep an eye on the changes in the weather. Overall, monsoon will be fully active in Bihar and Jharkhand on July 26 and the effect of clouds, rain and pleasant weather will be seen in most of the districts.
