Gorakhpur: There was a stir on Saturday due to the sudden deterioration in the health of the victim of a criminal case registered in Chaurichaura police station area of Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh. According to the police, the victim had earlier reached Chaurichaura police station and was insisting on meeting the accused arrested in the case.
The police told him that the accused has already been arrested and sent to the district jail after being produced in the court and the meeting is possible only as per the rules of the jail administration. After this she left from there.
The police told him that on the basis of the statement of the victim and the available evidence, the concerned accused was arrested on July 24 and after being produced in the court, he was sent to the district jail. In such a situation, meeting him is possible only as per the rules laid down by the jail administration.
Health deteriorated after returning from police station
According to police officials, after explaining, the victim left from there. After some time, information was received that his health had suddenly deteriorated. As soon as the information was received, the local police immediately reached the spot and admitted the victim to the Community Health Center (CHC) Chaurichaura, where doctors started her treatment.
Preliminary investigation revealed that he had consumed phenyl.
During preliminary investigation, doctors said that the victim had consumed phenyl, due to which her health deteriorated. Due to being rushed to the hospital on time, his condition is under control and at present his health is said to be normal. His treatment is continuing under the supervision of doctors.
Information given to family members
As soon as information about the incident was received, the police immediately informed the victim’s family. The family members have also reached the hospital and he is being treated under the supervision of doctors. Police are investigating the entire incident to clarify the circumstances under which the victim consumed phenyl.
The accused has already been sent to jail
Area Officer Chaurichaura said that the accused named in the relevant case has been arrested on the basis of the victim’s statement and the available evidence and has been sent to the district jail on July 24. The victim had reached the police station on Saturday and asked to meet the accused, but she was informed about the procedure for meeting in jail as per rules. Later, he was reported to have consumed phenyl, after which he was immediately admitted to the hospital.
Police say that the condition of the victim is normal at present.
Necessary legal action is being taken in the matter and all aspects of the entire matter are being seriously investigated.
