Recently, in an interview given to Siddharth Kannan, Shagufta Ali said that she feels that with time, the enthusiasm to work between Govinda and Karisma Kapoor might have gone away. He said that there can be a change in the relationships and thinking of any artist and this might have been the reason why both of them stopped working together. Shagufta said that she believes that being overly ambitious sometimes affects relationships and professional coordination. Shagufta Ali and Karisma Kapoor worked together in David Dhawan’s superhit comedy film ‘Hero No. 1’ released in 1997.
