The country’s politics has heated up over the issues of student agitation, paper leaks and students injured in the action of security forces. Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi held a press conference, in which he made a direct attack on the Central Government over the police action on students, allegations of use of pellet guns and the failures of the Education Ministry, and remained adamant on the demand for the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
