The Asia Cup 2025 is being played and the tournament has reached the middle stop. Today i.e., on September 17, the match between Pakistan and UAE was to be played in the Asia Cup and for both teams, the match was no less than a knock-out. Whatever team was successful in making this match name, the team would qualify for Super-4 easily.
But now there have been reports that, Pakistan’s team has taken out themselves from the match played against UAE in Asia Cup 2025. Since the Pakistan team has now taken themselves out of this match, the UAE team has been given 2 points and in such a situation the UAE team has now got 4 points.

The Pakistan cricket team has taken out itself from the Asia Cup 2025 (Asia Cup 2025) and that is why the UAE team has got 2 points. Actually, the thing is that after the match played between India and Pakistan, the players of the Indian team did not join hands with Pakistani players. Along with this, during the toss, the Indian captain did not join hands with Salman Aga and Salman was told by the match referee Andy Pecroft that both the captains do not have to join hands.
The Pakistan Cricket Board had complained to the ICC that the match referee Andy Pekroft should be dropped from the tournament. But this did not happen and the ICC rejected the demand of Pakistan Cricket Board. Now that the ICC did not accept Pakistan’s demand, Pakistan has taken itself out of the tournament.
