Arjun Tendulkar-Sachin Tendulkar: Arjun Tendulkar has passed his exam. His father Sachin Tendulkar has approved the result. On 23 May, LSG played its last match in the group stage, in which Arjun Tendulkar finally got a chance to debut. After sitting on the bench for 13 consecutive matches in IPL 2026, when Arjun got a chance to showcase his skills for the first time against Punjab Kings, he let his performance speak for itself. Father Sachin Tendulkar was elated after seeing his son’s performance, but he was even more happy with the fact that his son passed the cricket test.
How was Arjun Tendulkar’s performance on debut for LSG?
Arjun Tendulkar, making his debut for LSG on the IPL pitch, took one wicket in the form of Prabhsimran Singh for 36 runs in 4 overs. Rishabh Pant had dropped a catch of Prabhasimran in the very first over of Arjun. If he had not missed the catch, his number of wickets against Punjab Kings could have been 2. Apart from showing his bowling skills, Arjun also took a catch in fielding. While batting, he remained unbeaten after scoring 5 runs in 5 balls.

Sachin further mentioned in his post the test in which his son passed. He wrote that cricket tests not only patience but also skills. I am glad that you handled both of them very well in the competition.

On the other hand, Sara Tendulkar could not hide her happiness over the success of her younger brother. After his brother’s powerful performance, he wrote – You deserve every happiness in the world. we are proud of you.
Even though LSG could not win the match against Punjab Kings, the mark that Arjun Tendulkar left in it won everyone’s heart.
