This car is attracting the attention of customers due to its excellent mileage, low maintenance costs and better safety features. According to reports, more than 5,000 CNG units of Aura are being sold every month.

There are many vehicles in Hyundai’s CNG line-up, but the most demanded is Aura. It also remains the second best selling car in the sedan segment. The starting ex-showroom price of the petrol model of Hyundai Aura is Rs 5,99,990. Whereas, the price of its CNG variant starts from Rs 7,81,700. According to the experience of users, many people claim that Aura CNG gives a mileage of around 30 kilometers per liter.

Engine and Performance

Hyundai Aura has a 1.2 liter Kappa petrol engine. This engine comes with 5-speed manual or automatic transmission. It generates power of 83 PS and torque of 113.8 Nm. Its CNG variant has a 1.2 liter bi-fuel petrol engine, which gives power of 69 PS and torque of 95.2 Nm. According to the company, the official mileage of the CNG model is around 28 kilometers. Hyundai offers a warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh km on the Aura, whereas its main rival Maruti Dezire only gets a warranty of 2 years or 40,000 km.

Aura facelift equipped with modern features

Hyundai has included many new features in the facelift version. It has features like cruise control, segment best 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, eco coating technology, rear AC vents, rear power outlet and cooled glove box. The interior of the car has also been given a new look with new gray upholstery and wavy pattern design. Apart from this, features like footwell lighting, Type-C front USB charger and tire pressure monitoring system have also been added. On the outside, new LED daytime running lights and LED tail lamps make the vehicle look even more modern.

Ahead in safety features

Hyundai says that more than 30 new safety features have been provided in the facelift Aura. It comes with four airbags as standard, along with the option of side and curtain airbags. Safety systems like Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) and Hill Assist Control are also present in the vehicle. Those who choose the extended warranty package can extend their warranty up to seven years.

Tough competition from Desire

Hyundai Aura competes directly with Maruti Suzuki Dezire, which is the best-selling sedan in the country. Due to the rising prices of petrol, the CNG variant of Dezire is also being liked a lot. But, Hyundai Aura is attracting customers by offering better mileage and more features. Auto experts believe that in the last few months, a part of Dzire customers are shifting towards Aura.
