Shivkumar’s taunt on PM’s statement on paper leak
Bengaluru (Karnataka) [भारत]July 24 (ANI): Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar took a mild dig at Prime Minister Modi after his late-night video message highlighting the setting up of fast-track courts for paper leak cases. He said, “I am very happy. At least he has opened his mouth after 15 days or a month. He has kept his word. I think it is very important because we all work for the future of our children and youth. At least now, I think he has kept his word, and the entire country has kept its word. Thanks for that.”
Plan to reach AI to rural children
Speaking during a breakfast meeting with corporate executives, the Karnataka Chief Minister further said that his administration is keen to expand technical education to rural children and invited industry leaders to partner in regional development initiatives. He said, “We want to take AI to our children. And we want to do it for rural children, that’s why I requested all of them to invest in rural areas or towns. We also want a curriculum, and we will plan for that. That’s why I requested all of them to be a part of the next Bengaluru Tech Summit. I think all these CEOs came, and they were very open-minded, and they agreed with how the government is trying to take things forward. So this tech summit will help at the global level.
DK Shivakumar further said, “We want to maintain the name of Karnataka. Our leaders have built it, our talented people have built Bangalore. So we will work together.”
CM also spoke on water distribution
Responding to questions related to inter-state water sharing, Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar mentioned that a formal discussion would be scheduled after the initial administrative priorities of the new Cabinet are over. DK Shivakumar said, “I don’t want to reveal it right now. I am very busy in this first week with my cabinet expansion and all other work. We are ready to talk to everyone, share things with everyone and work with everyone. But Tamil Nadu has some time.”
