Tripura will become developed through digital system
Agartala (Tripura) [भारत]July 24 (ANI): Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Thursday said a developed Tripura will be created through building modern cities and modern villages, and further strengthening digital systems to provide various government services to the people of the state faster.
The Chief Minister said this while inaugurating various people-oriented projects of Agartala Municipal Corporation at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala on Friday. He said that digital services will be developed in Agartala Municipal Corporation as well as all municipal areas of the state. The main aim of the state government is to work for the welfare of the people of the state.
‘Goodwill is necessary for work’
He said, “Goodwill is needed for work. Due to this goodwill of the present government, new development projects are being implemented in every part of the state including Agartala city. Government employees, officials and public representatives will have to work together to implement every development work under the Agartala Smart City Mission and other development projects of the state in a transparent and timely manner.”
Inspiration from PM Modi, aim is to improve people’s lives
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi always believes in work. “The state government also wants to move in the same direction through work. To live a good life, one needs an affordable lifestyle. That is why the government wants to move forward by implementing more and more development projects to make the lives of the people better and more affordable.”
Saha said, “Instead of being complacent, everyone should work together with the aim of implementing development projects in a beautiful and transparent manner. By electing public representatives, the public has given them the responsibility of doing public service. They have to earn trust and confidence by working for the welfare of the people.”
Agartala will become a modern city
He also said that Agartala city is developing as a promising modern city in the North Eastern region. “The State Government is working to protect the cultural and historical heritage of Agartala city while developing it as a modern city. The success of the work can be realized only when the common citizen appreciates the work in his own words after experiencing the comfort in his daily life.”
The CMO said that the Chief Minister called upon everyone including every club and social organization to come forward with awareness to keep the environment of Agartala city clean, healthy and completely drug free.
Many new projects inaugurated
In the program, the Chief Minister inaugurated Sabuj Sena, Chandinmura Waste Transfer Centre, Amar Agartala App and 51 mini vehicle projects by pressing the button. He also formally handed over a state-of-the-art smoke cannon for mosquito control to the Municipal Corporation employees in the program.
Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor and MLA Deepak Majumdar, Deputy Mayor Manika Das Dutta, Urban Development Department Director Tamal Majumdar and Agartala Municipal Corporation Commissioner Saju Wahid A were present in the programme. (ANI)
