Chennai (Tamil Nadu): Finally, after a long wait, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and superstar actor C. Joseph Vijay’s film ‘Jana Nayakan’ has been released in theatres. There is a wave of happiness among the fans regarding the release of this film. Everyone is rooting for their hero as soon as ‘Jana Nayakan’ hits the theatres, Tamil actor Jai spoke to fans and thanked them for their tremendous support.
Said ‘I am waiting’ for Jan Nayakan
Speaking to the media, Jai said, “After many difficulties and protests, ‘Jana Nayakan’ is going to release tomorrow. Even if this film was released on mobile, Thalapathy Vijay’s fans would have watched it only in the theatre. Like the dialogue in ‘I am waiting’, you all have also waited patiently for this moment, and I thank you for your unwavering support.”
The actor also praised Vijay’s political leadership. He said, “Our Thalapathy, Joseph Vijay, has now become the Chief Minister. I pray that his rule lasts not just for the next five years, but for generations to come. I also request all of you to continue giving him your full support.”
On the other hand, fans all over Tamil Nadu have turned the release of the film into a big festival. On Thursday, people gathered outside the cinema hall to watch the first show of ‘Jana Nayakan’.
Pictures from Rohini Theater in Koyambedu showed a huge crowd standing in queue outside the cinema. Many people were eager to see the first-day-first show. Fans were seen dancing happily, shouting slogans and celebrating, making the atmosphere completely festival-like.
Not only this, fans have also put up posters of ‘Jana Nayakan’ and big cut-outs of actor-politician Vijay at many places.
Earlier this month, CM and actor Vijay had announced the new release date of the film in an official Instagram post. He had also released a new poster of the film, in which it was told that ‘Jana Nayakan’ will hit the theaters on July 23.

‘Jana Nayakan’, directed by H. Vinoth, features actors like Mamita Baiju, Pooja Hegde, Prakash Raj, Bobby Deol, Gautam Vasudev Menon, Priyamani and Narayan along with Vijay. The film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography is by Satyan Surian, editing is by Pradeep E. Raghav and production design is by V. Selvakumar.
