Sharing an X post on Friday, Adhikari reaffirmed the collective commitment to working tirelessly under Nitin Nabin’s vision to strengthen the Party further to fulfil the aspirations of the people of Bengal. “Delighted to meet our Nitin Nabin Ji in New Delhi today, following the historic mandate received by @BJP4Bengal in West Bengal. Conveyed my Heartiest Congratulations to him for this monumental success. Under his able leadership, astute organisational guidance, and unwavering support, our Karyartas fought with unmatched dedication to achieve this historic milestone. Adhikari holds series of high-level meetings

The Chief Minister called on Vice President CP Radhakrishnan and President Droupadi Murmu on Friday. He also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and expressed gratitude for his warm wishes and “unwavering commitment to the progress” of the state.

“Honoured and privileged to have met our respected Prime Minister in New Delhi today. This marks my first Official Meeting with Hon’ble PM since assuming the responsibility of serving the People of West Bengal as the Chief Minister,” Adhikari said in a post on X.

“I extend my deepest gratitude to PM Modi for his warm wishes and above all, for his unwavering commitment to the progress of our State. During our fruitful discussion, Hon’ble Prime Minister reemphasised his vision of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and reiterated that the development of West Bengal remains a top priority for the Central Government,” he added.

Pledges ‘double-engine growth’ for West Bengal

Adhikari said the new government in Bengal will usher in double-engine growth with help from the Centre. “I am incredibly thankful to him for assuring all possible help, guidance, and Central Support to rescue West Bengal from years of stagnation and place it firmly on the fast track of economic growth, industrial revival and youth empowerment,” he said.

“With the blessings of the Centre and the trust of the People, we are ready to usher in a new era of double-engine growth, transparent governance, and holistic development for West Bengal,” he added.

Earlier on Friday, he also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. (ANI)
