Vivo S60 Review: Making the competition tougher in the smartphone market, Vivo has launched its new mid-range phone Vivo S60 in China. The biggest feature of this phone is its powerful battery, great display and powerful camera setup. The company has also announced Vivo S60 Vitality Edition along with it. The sale of both these phones will start from June 3 on Vivo’s online store.
Vivo S60: Variants and price
The base model of Vivo S60 i.e. the variant with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage has been priced at 3,599 Yuan (about Rs 50,000). At the same time, 12 GB + 512 GB variant will be available for 3,999 Yuan (about Rs 56,000) and 16 GB + 512 GB variant will be available for 4,399 Yuan (about Rs 62,000).
Talking about S60 Vitality Edition, its 8 GB + 256 GB model will be available for 2,899 Yuan (about Rs 41,000). While the price of 12 GB + 256 GB variant is 3,199 Yuan and the price of 12 GB + 512 GB variant is 3,499 Yuan.
The new S60 smartphone has a 6.59 inch 1.5K AMOLED display, which supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The display also has HDR support and support for 1.07 billion colors. This phone runs on Origin OS 6 based on Android 16.
For performance, the phone has been provided with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor built on 4 nanometer technology. It has the option of up to 16 GB RAM and up to 512 GB storage. Talking about the camera, the phone has a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. It supports up to 100x digital zoom and 4K video recording. A 50-megapixel front camera is also provided for selfie.
Another major feature of Vivo S60 is its large 7,200mAh battery, which supports 90W fast charging. Apart from this, the phone also has modern connectivity features like 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, IP69 rating for water and dust resistance, 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4.
Vivo S60 Vitality Edition
The display, battery and fast charging are the same in S60 Vitality Edition, but telephoto camera is not provided in it. Also, MediaTek Dimension 7500 Full Power chipset has been used as the processor in it. This new S60 series of Vivo targets those users who want long battery life along with good performance.
