Mohanlal’s thriller film ‘Drishyam 3’ has finally been released in theaters and with its release, the film seems to be doing well at the box office. The third part of this crime thriller franchise of director Jeethu Joseph registered a great opening on the very first day. Although there was a slight decline in the film’s earnings on the second day, despite this the magic of ‘Georgekutty’ is impressing the audience. The special thing is that the climax of the film has also raised the possibility of ‘Drishyam 4’, due to which a huge discussion has started on social media.
Strong hold of ‘Drishyam 3’ despite decline on second day
According to Sacnilk report, Drishyam 3 collected around ₹10.85 crore nett in India on the second day. With this the total domestic earning of the film has reached ₹26.70 crore. The film took a spectacular opening of ₹15.85 crore on the first day. If we look at it accordingly, there was a decline of 31.5 percent in the earnings of the second day. The overall occupancy of the film on the third day was 52.47 percent.

‘Drishyam 3’ close to earning Rs 100 crore worldwide
‘Drishyam 3’ is close to joining the Rs 100 crore club at the worldwide box office. It is believed that with Saturday’s collection this film has entered this club. The film collected Rs 20 crore in the overseas market on the second day. With this, the film’s gross earning in foreign countries has reached Rs 45 crore. The film grossed Rs 39.94 crore in India. Overall, the worldwide gross collection of the film has reached Rs 75.94 crore.
Could not beat ‘L2 Empuraan’, but ahead of other films

Interestingly, apart from Malayalam, ‘Drishyam 3’ is also performing well in the Telugu market. While the Malayalam version of Drishyam 3 earned ₹23.35 crore in India, the Telugu version earned ₹2.20 crore. The remaining two versions of the film, Kannada (Rs 30 lakh) and Tamil (Rs 85 lakh) have not even touched the Rs 1 crore mark.
